Hull was a key member of the Blues' "Hull and Oates" line, which also featured center Adam Oates. The Hull-Oates line was one of the most productive in the NHL, and it helped the Blues become one of the most successful teams in the league.

Later Career

Hull left the Blues in 1998, and he went on to play for the Dallas Stars, Detroit Red Wings, and Phoenix Coyotes. He retired from the NHL in 2005, and he was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2009.

After his playing career, Hull worked as a broadcaster and a coach. He is currently the head coach of the St. Louis Blues.
