Carly Fiorina is a business executive and politician. She was the CEO of Hewlett-Packard from 1999 to 2005. Fiorina was the first woman to lead a Fortune 20 company. She was also the Republican nominee for U.S. Senate in California in 2010 and a candidate for the Republican presidential nomination in 2016.

Fiorina was born in Austin, Texas, in 1954. She earned a bachelor's degree in philosophy from Stanford University and a master's degree in business administration from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
